Claudia Tardelli Terry studied Medieval Italian Literature & Philology at the University of Pisa and at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa. She was a Gates Scholar at Downing College, Cambridge, where she took her PhD in Italian Studies in 2015. She was a Short-term Postdoctoral Fellow of the Leeds Humanities Research Centre, and came back to Cambridge in 2016 as an MHRA Postdoctoral Fellow and a Research Associate of Corpus Christi College. She has taught Italian Literature and Culture at Pisa, Cambridge, Leeds, and Reading University. Her research concentrates on Medieval Italian Literature, with a special focus on the tradition of Dante Commentary. In the field of Neo-Latin studies, she is working on a critical edition of the unpublished Breve Compendium et Utile super tota Dantis Allegherii Comedia.
