About the NeoLatina Conferences

The NeoLatina conferences, dedicated to Neo-Latin authors and topics, were initiated in 1999
by Eckard Lefèvre and Eckart Schäfer under the title Freiburger Neulateinisches Symposium.
Since then they have been held annually and have become a permanent institution. Since 2013,
the conference has been called NeoLatina, based on the NeoLatina series published by Gunter
Narr-Verlag, which also publishes the conference proceedings. The NeoLatina conferences are
currently organized in turn by Thomas Baier (Würzburg), Wolfgang Kofler (Innsbruck) and
Stefan Tilg (Freiburg)
