Marco Petolicchio studied in Rome, earning his M.A. in General Linguistics. Since 2017 he is enrolled in the Ph.D. program for Italian Linguistics at Palacky University of Olomouc (Czech Republic). His research interests include digital humanities, computational linguistics, and general linguistics.

From September 2019 to July 2021 Marco was working on the FWF project “Basinio da Parma’s epic poem Hesperis”. He was responsible for the digital architecture of the online edition.
