Abbot of Stift Stams visits the LBI
Prof. German Erd, abbot of the Cistercian monastery of Stams in Tirol, visited the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies.
The very reason for his visit was a talk given by Florian Schaffenrath at the ‘Lange Nacht der Forschung’ about a collection of Latin epigrams from Stams, written ca in the middle of the 17th century by a Cistercian monk.
