LBI Fellowship (1)
The LBI welcomes its first fellow, Patrick Hadley. Patrick joins the LBI in September 2012 from the Department of Classics at the University of Toronto and will stay until March 2013.
Patrick is interested in German Humanism of the 16th century and especially its interaction with Greek drama, particularly comedy. He is therefore pleased to join the LBi research line dealing with Neo-Latin and Religion; his work in the LBI consists of chapters from his ongoing doctoral dissertation on the relationship between Nicodemus Frischlin’s 1586 translation of Aristophanes and his other Neo-Latin works (which will be discussed regularly with the other LBI members).
