Literary Windows

The 25th–26th September saw an international group of scholars meet in Old Library at All Soul’s College, Oxford for a two-day conference on the phenomenon of window references in literature.

Alongside experts on Classical, Neo-Latin and English literature, there were also contributions on two-tier allusions in French, Middle Irish and Polish literary culture. The conference, organised with the support of the LBI for Neo-Latin Studies, also brought together a number of Boltzmann fellows past and present.
