Per limina. Printed Paratexts and the Intellectual Networks of Humanism

Innsbruck, 6–7 December 2024

On December 6–7 2024, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies and the University of Innsbruck hosted the conference “Per limina. Printed Paratexts and the Intellectual Networks of Humanism”, organized by Domenico Graziano and Lukas Spielhofer. Scholars and friends of the LBI from around the world gathered to share their research and perspectives on the growing field of Neo-Latin and New Ancient Greek paratexts. The event also provided an opportunity to celebrate the Institute’s fourteen-year run, highlighting its impressive impact and the extensive network it has cultivated. Celebration and state-of-the-art scholarly exchange converged in Prof. Ann Blair’s rich keynote address, which sparked lively discussion.
