Anni Polding holds an MA in Classical Philology from the University of Tartu. Anni is a Junior Research Fellow/PhD student at the University of Tartu. Her research focuses on Neo-humanism in the corpus of Karl Morgenstern’s Pedagogical-Philological Seminar from the beginning of the 19th century.

Anni joins the institute as an LBI fellow for four months (September-December). During her stay here she will study Neo-humanism and stylistics in the corpus of the Pedagogical-Philological Seminar. Anni will also compare the ideas and style in the corpus to the ones of ancient authors, especially Cicero. She is using digital humanities tools for her research.
