About the project:

Based at London’s Warburg Institute and funded by the Leverhulme trust (2023-2026), Writing Bilingually aims to create an annotated repertory of prose self-translations printed in Italy and France from 1465 to 1700, as well as an anthology of primary sources useful for studying this phenomenon. The research team is composed of two researchers working under the supervision of Dr Sara Miglietti, the Principal Investigator.

For further information, check out the project webpage or follow us on Facebook. The Writing Bilingually team will attend the RSA conference in Chicago (2024) and the IANLS conference in Aix-en-Provence (2025).
