The Rhetorica Prize for Isabella Walser-Bürgler
Isabella-Walser Bürgler was awarded The Rhetorica Prize by the International Society for the History of Rhetoric
For her paper “Staging Oratory in Renaissance Germany: The Delivery of Andrés Laguna’s Europa Heautentimorumene (1543)” (in: Rhetorica. A Journal of the History of Rhetoric 38, 2020, 84–117), our colleague Isabella Walser-Bürgler was awarded The Rhetorica Prize. This prize is awarded by the International Society for the History of Rhetoric (ISHR) to the best paper published in the last two volumes of the journal Rhetorica. Isabella got the prize during the 23rd congress of the Society which took place from 2nd to 6th August 2022 in Nijmegen. Congratulations!
