Boards
Board of Partners
The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies has four official partners.
These partners have a seat in the Board of Partners, which is responsible for the general strategic direction of the Institute.
- The Leopold-Franzens-Universität of Innsbruck hosts the LBI and is its main partner. The LBI is housed in the Atrium building and cooperates in many ways with the neighbouring Classics Department of Innsbruck University.
- The Albert-Ludwigs-Universität is our partner in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany). We cooperate in particular with the Classics Department, which has a long tradition of Neo-Latin studies.
- The Österreichische Nationalbibliothek is our partner in Vienna and provides us with a wealth of Neo-Latin material, especially from the Habsburg Empire.
- The Pontificio Comitato di Scienze Storiche is our partner in Rome. We are happy to draw on its expertise on a number of historal issues, especially in our programme line Neo-Latin and Religion.
