Cooperation
The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies has established formal cooperation with a number of institutions. At the moment these include:
- Institut für Byzanzforschung of the Austrian Academy of Sciences: we participate in projects on a dictionary of Austrian humanists and on book culture in the 17th and 18th centuries. We are also involved in a COST funding bid led by members of the Institut für Byzanforschung.
- Institut für Kulturwissenschaften und Theatergeschichte (IKT) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences: we share information on our mutual research activities and pursue a project aiming at the digitization of the IKT’s collection of printed theatre programmes (periochae) from the historical Habsburg territories.
- Society for Neo-Latin Studies (SNLS): we share information on Neo-Latin activities with the SNLS and aim at a number of more ambitious projects in the future.
- Italien-Zentrum of Innsbruck University: the Italien-Zentrum is mainly devoted to the academic and intercultural exchange between Italy and Austria. We support each other in organizing lectures and talks within the vast field of early Italian and Neo-Latin literature.
