The Editors of the Bloomsbury Neo-Latin Series (BNLS) are delighted to announce the inauguration of the series with a virtual book launch scheduled for 5pm (BST) 30th September 2020. The event will be hosted on Crowdcast, a platform provided by the Society of Renaissance Studies (SRS). Save your spot at the event here: https://www.crowdcast.io/e/bloomsbury-neo-latin.
The BNLS launch celebrates the appearance of the series’ first two volumes: An Anthology of British Neo-Latin Literature (ed. G. Manuwald, L. B. T. Houghton and L. R. Nicholas) and An Anthology of European Neo-Latin Literature (ed. G. Manuwald, D. Hadas and L. R. Nicholas). The volumes are already available for perusal and pre-order in hardback, paperback and e-book format on the BNLS website: https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/series/bloomsbury-neo-latin-series-early-modern-texts-and-anthologies/.
Participants at the launch will hear a few words of introduction to BNLS, its scope and its two strands from the series editors, before a presentation of the series’ first two volumes by their respective editors. We will provide a brief outlook on future plans for the series before opening up the floor to exchange and questions from attendees.
We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to our virtual launch next month!
