From 30–31 May 2024, the 18th Trends in Classics conference entitled ‘Cognitive Theory and Later Latin: Late Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period’ took place in sunny Thessaloniki. Together with our Freiburg partners, our LBI was able to welcome a number of renowned speakers. It was a special honour for us to be visited by the Austrian Ambassador to Greece, Ms Gerda Vogl, together with the Austrian Honorary Consul in Thessaloniki, Ms Evelyn Papadopoulos.
