Stefano Poletti’s research interests include Latin epic and novel and ancient commentary on Virgil (especially Servius), which he investigates from both the philological (textual criticism and tradition, from the Middle ages to the Renaissance) and the literary-theoretical point of view (intertextuality, narratology). At the Ludwig Boltzmann Institut he will explore in particular the reception of Petronius’ Satyricon in Neo-Latin Prose Fiction.
